Located in the heart of Walled Lake, MI TDA Insurance & Financial Agency & Financial is your trusted source of superior Michigan Insurance; dedicated to serving the unique needs of area individuals, families, and businesses.

The owners of TDA Insurance & Financial Agency, Sherry and Mark Diederich, decided to take a begin a new phase of their lives by opening their own business and having a child in 1996. Before TDA Insurance & Financial Agency could become an independent agency, Mark was appointed with Nationwide Insurance as a captive agent. They originally rented out a small office in a nearby shopping center located in Novi, MI. TDA eventually outgrew their small Novi office and moved to a larger one up the road in 2001. In 2009, Mark was able to retire as a Nationwide Agent. At this time, Sherry opened up TDA Insurance & Financial Agency and Financial, an independent insurance agency. This gives our staff the opportunity to shop for our client’s policies with what are now 10+ carriers rather than just Nationwide Insurance. Therefore, TDA customizes insurance plans, ensuring that our clients are getting the most coverage while paying the least. Finally in 2018, TDA Insurance & Financial Agency and Financial moved from Novi to our current location in Walled Lake.

Today, TDA continues to evolve as a well-respected coverage leader, providing premier insurance to residents across the state. TDA takes pride in being a family-owned business, as the TDA acronym stands for “The Diederich Agency.” The founders, Sherry and Mark, had two children who now work at TDA as well. The motto at TDA is that if we treat our employees like family, our employees will treat our clients like family. Here at TDA, we dig deep to ensure that we are providing our clients with the coverage they need at the best possible prices.
